We believe it is usually best for our patients to have all their medication prescriptions provided by their family doctor. This reduces the risk that duplicate or conflicting prescriptions will be given. It also ensures that your family doctor is aware of all the medication that you are taking.

However, in certain cases we will provide medication prescriptions. In this case, we ask that you call our office at least 48 hours in advance, and we will call in a prescription to your pharmacy. As a general rule, we will not provide prescriptions for non-cardiac medication, especially sleeping pills or pain-killers.
